Pinkpop: the vintage years 1970 - 1974

Op 18 mei 1970, een jaar na het legendarische Woodstock, vond in Geleen het allereerste Pinkpopfestival plaats. Dit jaar beleeft het festival met zijn directeur Jan Smeets dus de 35e editie op rij. Een prestatie die Pinkpop, ook nog eens het predikaat oudste onafgebroken rockfestival van Europa oplevert. Dat feit wordt dit jaar extra luister bijgezet door de uitgave van twee DVD-documenten. Beide DVD's bevatten veel sfeerbeelden met fantastische muziek en artiesten zoals Focus, Golden Earring, CCC Inc, Massada, maar ook internationale acts als Cockney Rebel, Uriah Heep, Status Quo, Nils Lofgren en nog veel meer.
