“Omega Alive” is meer dan een effectief vaccin tegen geen-concerteritus – voor bands, fans en crews die allemaal terugkijken op een lange tijd zonder. Verdeeld in vijf secties, elk deel heeft een ander thema, visie en gevoel, gecomplimenteerd met verwijzingen naar de EPICA geschiedenis en de symboliek omtrent de band. Een twee uur durend spektakel van een show waarin ze hun gehele carrière aanstippen, met onder meer Simone Simons’ adembenemende a-capella versie van ‘Rivers’ van het laatste album ‘Omega’ inclusief zangkoor; ongeëvenaard goed.
